June is the first month of a high tourist season in Croatia. Visitors have already arrived at popular tourist destinations. Everyone is having a good time, either on the beach, or sightseeing cultural attractions in the old towns like Trogir and Split.

As you can see from the photos, the old town with Riva and Diocletian's Palace is lively. People walk near the sea enjoying the early summer atmosphere. Others explore cultural attractions. No one here remembers the coronavirus, as all the restrictions and border requirements have been lifted more than a month ago.

Split Peristyle is the busiest spot in the town. Except for being the most famous cultural attraction of Split, the Peristyle square is also a place of live music events which usually take place during early evening hours.

Party animals can choose among a few popular nightlife spots like clubs Inbox, Zenta, and Bacvice.

Tourist groups are popular once again. If you want to get more insights into the history of the town, you can choose among many walking tours, which usually have Split Peristyle as the starting point.

Those who look for a full-day adventure could take a day trip to some of the nearby islands. The most popular is island hopping tour, which consists of a visit to the 5 islands located in the vicinity of Split.

June is a perfect month for swimming. The sea temperature is above 20 degrees Celsius, which should be good for most people. As you can see from the photos, everyone is having a good time on the beach Bacvice, which is the most famous one in Split.
