Many visitors who come to Croatia want to taste some of its authentic specialities.
Just as the other tourist services, restaurant prices in Croatia heavily depend on the location - those located in the centre of Dubrovnik or Split are more expensive than those situated away from the famous tourist spots.

I will give an overview of the prices of typical restaurant meals in Croatia.

Pizza prices in Croatia

Pizza is probably the most common global meal - you can taste it in every corner of the world, and Croatia is no exception.
If you sit in a restaurant in a popular place, the pizza price ranges from 10 to 15 euros per person.
Famous restaurant LVXOR, located on Split Peristyle square, will charge you 11 euros for pizza Margherita. Pizza Spicy will cost you 13 euros in the same restaurant.

Restaurants situated away from the top tourist spots are considerably cheaper - Margherita usually costs less than 7 euros.
Konoba "Kod Duje" in Marina charges 7.5 euros for pizza with cheese and ham.

Fish meal prices depend on the type of fish and preparation. You will likely pay more if you want to taste grilled fish of the highest quality.
For example, Buffet Palandra in Arbanija on Ciovo island charges 20 euros for a portion of grilled fish. The same price applies to a portion of grilled squid.

Salmon with vegetables costs 23 euros in LVXOR.
The most expensive meal is cooked shrimp - you will likely pay over 30 euros for a portion in popular restaurants.

Affordable meat meals in tourist destinations will cost you 10 - 15 euros on average. The already mentioned Buffet Palandra charges 12 euros for a chicken breast meal. The price for lamb chops is around 25 euros.
