Znjan is the biggest beach in Split, and over the last few years, it has become the top tourist spot among locals and visitors, hand-to-hand with the more popular beaches Kasjuni and Bacvice.

Beach Znjan attractions

Znjan is a large pebble beach with small concrete parts.

It has all the necessary tourist facilities expected from top-rated beaches.
The first one I would mention is a free large parking place, which makes this beach choice number one for those who arrived in Split by car. Bacvice and Kasjuni have fewer parking spots.

Above the beach, you will find plenty of beach bars, ice-cream shops and fast food. Some of the bars work as nightclubs during the summer season, until 1 am.

Znjan is perfect not only for spending time on the beach but for a romantic walk or early night socializing. You will notice that the lights from the bars create a charming evening atmosphere.
I would point out Monkey bar, which organises evening events every day during the summer season.

Rescue service is available every day on the beach during the summer season.
Multiple free showers and swimsuit change places are located just above the beach.
Service for renting pedalo and kayaks is located in the south part of the beach.
Beach bars offer sun beds, sun umbrellas, and loungers for rent.

A nice promenade ideal for an evening walk, cycling and running is located just above the beach.

The beach is located in the northern part of Split, in the district of the same name. As already mentioned, it can be easily reached by car.
Multiple bus lines operated by Promet Split have their stop on the beach (lines 7, 8, and 14). Check the updated info on Promet Split website.

The beach is free for everyone. Entrance to the bars is not paid as well.
Prices in the bars are a bit higher than average for Split. If you want to rent a sunbed in the beach bar Mistral, you will pay 33 euros.
The cheapest pizza will cost you 59 kuna (around 8 euros). A cup of coffee will cost you around 2 euros.
