Beach Trstenik facilities
Unlike Znjan, Kasjuni, and Bacvice, Trstenik is a bit less glamorous beach. That also means that there are no crowds - even during the high tourist season you can easily find a comfortable spot to put your towel and the other stuff.
There is only one beach bar on Trstenik. It is called Mistral and it is located on the south side of the beach, just near Znjan. There you can rent a sunbed, lounge, and sun umbrella. During afternoon hours Mistral works as a restaurant.
Restaurant Velo Misto is located on the north side of the beach, just near port Zenta. They offer pizza, pasta, burgers, and salads. Working time is 12 pm - 23 pm. The cheapest pizza will cost you 47 kuna (around 6.5 euros).
Free showers and swimsuit change places are available on the beach. It's not allowed to use shampoo, since the chemicals may enter the sea.
Rescue service is there during the summer season.
Pets are not allowed, except in the area specifically marked for pets.
The beach is mostly pebble, with a few concrete parts. The area for the swimmers is marked with buoys. The swimmers should not swim out of the marked area due to the risk of the speedboats.
There is no shade on the beach, so it is advisable to avoid staying there in periods 11 am - 3 pm.
Just above the beach, there is a nice promenade called "Walkway of St. John Paul Second". It's ideal for cycling, running, family and romantic walks. The walkway goes all the way from beach Znjan to port Zenta.
Beach Trstenik does not have its own parking. You could leave your car somewhere in the nearby district, and then take a short walk to the beach.
If you are going there by bus, you should take the local line number 17 operated by Promet Split. Find more info on their website.
