The Statue of Our Lady of Loreto was built in 2017. on a small hill near Primosten. The place is included in the list of Our Lady shrines, and it's worth visiting for all tourists who reside in Primosten and nearby areas.

Statue our Lady of Loreto location
The statue is located on a hill called Gaj. The hill is around 2 kilometres away from the centre of Primosten. You need to drive around one kilometre on the state road D8 from Primosten in the direction of Split. You will notice a sign which will suggest you turn right to reach the Statue. You can leave the car there and walk up to the mountain. You can go by car as well, but I do not recommend you to do so, since the road is not really suitable for modern cars with low suspension.
It will take you around 20 minutes to reach the Statue. Avoid hot sunny summer hours, and go there in the evening or morning, since it takes a notable effort to reach the top of the hill.

The statue is 17.5 meters tall. Its orientation is towards Primosten, which is a sign of protection of the town. The green colour of the Statue is a sign of fertility.

Just near the locality, there is a coffee bar where you can enjoy your favourite drink while having a panoramic view of Primosten and nearby islands. You will notice beautiful forms of the coast of Primosten and neighbourhood areas.
