As of June 24, 2020, Croatia has decided on mandatory wearing of a mask for all passengers in public transport, which includes buses, trams, and other types of public transport. If a passenger does not have surgical or other kinds of a face mask, he will not be allowed to enter the public transport.
This is another decision made by Croatia to maintain a favourable epidemiological situation.
Together with Slovenia and Slovakia, Croatia has the lowest number of virus cases per day in Europe. This also makes it a desirable tourist destination for visitors from the European Union who are looking for a vacation this summer.
