Croatia has been handling the pandemic well, and for many people who are looking for a vacation, it may be a good place to spend holidays in 2021.
I took a walk around a few tourist destinations in Croatia to check the atmosphere, and if visitors are back.
Split
Split has been a favourite tourist spot for visitors of all ages and nationalities.
In June 2021, tourists are back in Split again, and they are having a good time. You can feel that the vibes are good while walking on Split Riva, or inside the Diocletian's Palace
Bars, restaurants, and museums in Split are open and ready to welcome visitors.
The nightlife in Split is restarting as well, but dancing and selling alcoholic drinks after 11 pm is not allowed yet.
If you are the type of person who likes to combine sightseeing, relaxed walks near the sea, and beach time, then Split is your best bet for holidays in 2021.
Trogir
Another interesting tourist spot near Split is Trogir, a charming UNESCO town featuring a beautiful Romanesque Cathedral, and an old town with many preserved monuments from the time of Venetian rule of Dalmatia.
Coffee bars, restaurants, and museums have reopened in Trogir, meaning the visitors can get all they need to have the best possible experience of the town.

Primosten
Primosten has been known as a favourite Croatian beach destination. Featuring kilometers of pebble beaches, amazing sunset, and nice rocky shapes, Primosten will bring joy to everyone who comes there.
Another tourist ace of Primosten is domestic food and drinks: the most featured are the famous red wine Babic, and the olive oil. You can feel and taste the highest quality Mediterranean food in some of the restaurants in the town.
In early June 2021, the first visitors have arrived in Primosten and they are having a good time since the town is not crowded. I believe there will be more interest for the place in July and August when we expect the restrictions to be further relaxed.
Brela
One of the most famous destinations of south Croatia, Brela, is more beautiful than ever in June 2021.
The first visitors have already arrived, and they are having a great time on the beaches, in bars, or in restaurants.
I would say that this place is the number one destination for those who prefer mostly staying on the beach.
The clean sea with its greenish color will hardly leave anyone unimpressed.
