Drvenik features all the tourist facilities necessary for a nice and intimate vacation. You have plenty of beach bars and restaurants in the centre of the village. Tourist agencies organise day trips to nearby destinations.

The beaches are mostly pebble and concrete. There are trees that provide shade during hot sunny hours.

For those who like romantic and recreational walks, there is a walkway near the sea (lungo mare).
For those who prefer jogging, there is a trim trail that is around 3 kilometres long.

During the months of September and October, all the places in Makarska Riviera are good for cyclists since there are no crowds and cars around.

Drvenik was awarded as a top small destination of Croatia in 2021 in the competition called "Turistička Parola" organised by Vecernji List.

Drvenik features a ferry port with ferry line to Sućuraj, the smallest settlement on Hvar island. The line is operated by Jadrolinija.

If you decide to stay in Drvenik for a few days or longer, it's a good idea to take a day trip to Hvar, since the ferry ride takes less than an hour, and it's affordable.
The ferry port features paid parking as well, with a parking price of 1.5 euros/hour.

Great day trip opportunities are the two biggest Croatian tourist destinations: Split and Dubrovnik. You can reach both of them in 2 hours ride by car.
Dubrovnik will be even more approachable in 2022, since the Peljesac Bride is supposed to be fully operational in late July 2022. There will be no need to cross the BiH border and Neum corridor.

As already mentioned, Hvar island is easily reached from the place. Take a day trip to amazing destinations on the island like Stari Grad and Hvar Town.

Biokovo Skywalk is another attraction worth visiting. You can reach it in half an hour of ride from the village.
