If you are looking for a nice and intimate place to spend your holidays in Croatia, then consider Dolac, a small coastal pearl located between Primosten and Bilo.

How to get to Dolac

The easiest way to arrive in Dolac is by car. You just need to drive alongside coastal state road D8, and when you see sign "Dolac", it will mean you have arrived.
Most of the apartments are easily accessible and feature parking places for guests. Additionally, there are free public parking places just near the road D8. These are good for those who just want to stay for a day or less.
The alternative to car transportation is a bus. There are plenty of bus lines from Sibenik or Split that have stop in Dolac.

Rocky beach in Dolac

The coast in Dolac is beautiful, I would say among the most beautiful in Croatia. It consists of pebble and natural rocky beaches. An important fact is that even during high season Dolac beaches are not crowded. It's one of the rare coastal places without crowds, which makes it even more attractive.
Just above the coast, there is a promenade ideal for a family or romantic walk, biking, and jogging.

Visitors mostly spend their time on the beach, or in some of the coffee bars. The most beautiful bar is Bistro Boxer Club. You can enjoy a view of the coast while drinking your favourite drink.
If you want to take some food, there are a few great restaurants in Dolac featuring Mediterranean specialities. I would point out restaurant Dolac and Bila Lučica, located just above the coast.

There is no active nightlife in Dolac, for that purpose you need to go to nearby Primosten. You can use your own car to get in Primosten, but I recommend taking a taxi or Uber. Taxi fare will cost you less than 10 euros in one direction. If you go by your own car, you will have to pay 10 kunas/hour for parking in Primosten.
Primosten features one of the most famous summer nightclubs in Croatia called Aurora, which is located 2 kilometres away from the centre of the place.

Dolac is featured by beautiful apartments with a balcony and amazing sea view.
