Like other aspects of life, staying on a beach and swimming in the sea is carried out with some restrictions due to COVID-19 pandemic in Croatia in 2020.
Although there are some limitations, I believe it will not stop you from enjoying the beautiful beaches of Croatia this year, like Bacvice and Kasjuni in Split, or Zlatni Rat on Brac.
Croatia has been handling pandemic well, and now is ready to welcome tourists from all over Europe, who can enjoy the country's attractions while staying safe.

List of restrictions for beaches and swimming in the sea
We are bringing the most important points of recommendations written by the Croatian Institute of Public Health.
The maximum number of people who can stay on the beach at the same time is determined by the principle of 15 people per 100 square meters of space.
The social distancing of 1.5 meters is required between the visitors or employees on the beach.
Hand sanitizers should be placed in visible places on the beach and should be used by every visitor.
Sunbeds on the beach should be 1.5 meters apart. They should be disinfected after each use.
If there are other sitting places on the beach, they should be at distance of 1.5 meters from each other.
While staying in the sea, visitors should keep the social distance of 1.5 meters.
Beach employees need to clean the toilets more often, preferably every two hours.
Beach bars and restaurants should follow the rules prescribed for all objects serving food and drinks.
Comment of beaches and swimming restrictions
Just like other aspects of life, swimming and staying on the beach this year requires us to maintain social distance.
I believe it will not be too much of a burden for people who enjoy swimming and staying on the beach. These restrictions were introduced for our safety, and are not really difficult to enforce. Moreover, the beaches in Croatia will be more beautiful than ever before, since there will be no crowds like in previous years.
