As of February 25, the Croatian government announced the reopening of all outdoor coffee shops and restaurants, starting with March 1, 2021. That's the result of positive trends in dealing with the pandemic, with a decreased number of daily cases over the last few weeks.

All the bars and restaurants have been closed in Croatia since early December. The numbers are much better these days, and with warm weather and vaccines rolled out, all the travellers are hoping for a good tourist season in 2021.

The indoor bars and restaurants will remain closed until epidemiological conditions improve enough. The same is for nightclubs. Public gatherings will stay limited and will be held only in accordance with the Civil Protection Headquarters.
