Split is known to be one of the top nightlife destinations during the summer season.
Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic has been affecting many things, and one of the most heavily affected is nightlife, not only in Split but in the whole world.

Is there any nightlife in Split in 2021?

As of June 2021, indoor nightclubs are not allowed to work yet.
Outdoor nightclubs are allowed to work, but they are supposed to close at midnight. Selling alcoholic drinks after midnight is forbidden as well.
All of this means that the classic nightlife that we are used to is not yet active in Split in June 2021. But this may change on July 1, since the prime minister announced further relaxation of the restrictions if the positive pandemic trends continue.
One of the most famous festivals of electronic music in the world, Ultra Europe, is supposed to take place in early July. We will still see if the festival is really going to be held, and in what conditions.

How about early evenings and night in Split?

Split Riva is a perfect place to take an early night walk or take a beer in some of the bars in the center of the town.
People are back on the streets, and the atmosphere is good. It's perfect for those who prefer more individualistic or romantic walks these days over party animals, who are still waiting for their time to come again, which should be not too far from now in the future.
