From January 1, 2021. swimming for tourists is forbidden in all locations of Krka National Park. That decision was made in January 2020, by the administration of National Park.

Many visitors enjoyed swimming on Skradinski Buk over the last few years, however, the growing number of swimmers has become a concerning factor for the conservation of the ecosystem. Another concern is safety: five people drown on Skradinski Buk over the last 4 years.

The prohibition decision shall take effect on January 2021, which means that visitors can still swim on Skradinski Buk in 2020.
