How to get to Okrug Donji
The easiest way to reach the Okrug Donji is by car. You need to drive on coastal road D8, and then turn to island Ciovo. You will have to drive 10 more kilometres to reach the village.
If you do not have a car, bus transportation is the alternative. You need to reach Trogir first, a famous Croatian coastal town located 20 kilometres north of Split. From the main Trogir station, you need to take the local bus line 44, which is operated by Promet Split. Check the line schedule on Promet website.
If you arrive in Croatia by plane, and landing at Split airport, probably the most comfortable option is to take a taxi. Uber fare from the airport to the village will cost you around 20 euros.

Okrug Donji tourist facilities
As already mentioned, Okrug Donji does not feature many restaurants and bars. There is no single nightclub in the village.
The lack of crowds and noise is probably the most appealing aspect of this place.
Especially those visitors who book apartments by the sea will have a chance to enjoy the beach time - almost like it is their private beach.
Okrug features beautiful and comfortable apartments with modern design. As expected, you will have to pay more for those located near the beach.
There are only a few pebble beaches in the village, and they usually do not get crowded, expect during the peak summer season days.
The most famous restaurant in the village is called Didina Dika, located in the centre of the place.
Day trips from Okrug Donji
Trogir is the number one destination which should not be skipped by all visitors who stay in Okrug Donji. With its magnificent Romanesque cathedral and fortress Kamerlengo, Trogir is known to be one of the most beautiful pearls of Croatian tourism.
Split is known for its Diocletian's Palace, beaches Bacvice, and Kasjuni, restaurants, and nightlife options.
Dragon's Eye lake is an interesting natural phenomenon located in Rogoznica, a small tourist place located 30 kilometres away from the village.
