As HRT writes, Croatia will lift most of the remaining restrictions related to coronavirus pandemic. Starting with April 9, 2022, masks will no longer be obligatory, except in health care system.

Restrictions related to public gatherings are lifted as well, meaning there will be no limitations in regards to the number of people who are allowed to attend public events. It will not be required to show proof of vaccination or any other document.

Digital COVID certificates are still necessary to pass the Croatian border since this restriction is imposed on the EU level, and it will be lifted in all EU countries at the same time.

Croatian minister of health Vili Beros said that the coronavirus pandemic is not considered a threat to society anymore: therefore the remaining restrictions will be only related to health workers and the health care system.

This is a piece of great news for all people who missed public events, who were tired of masks, distance, and other restrictions. Finally, things are practically the same as before the pandemic.

This is great news for all travellers who are interested to come to Croatia as well; they can now enjoy group sightseeing, international events, and other facilities which were suspended due to pandemics.
