Beach Obojena Svjetlost is one of the most famous beaches located at the foot of Marjan hill, alongside Kasjuni. Although a bit less glamorous than Kasjuni, many locals and tourists prefer Obojena Svjetlost due to its uniqe shape, large parking area, fewer crowds, and lower prices.

The beach is characterised by its original shape. It's mostly a pebble beach with small concrete parts. There are no trees on the beach, which means you have no protection from the sun during the hot summer hours 11 am - 5 pm. You could spend that time in the beach bar.

The beach bar features affordable prices. If you want to have a beer, you will pay 4 - 5 euros. Coffee will cost you around 2 euros.

The beach is quite spacious, so the crowds are common only during peak season in late July and early August.

Many recreationists find Obojena Svjetlost to be a perfect spot for refreshment after a jogging session in Marjan forest park.

There are multiple swimsuit change spots alongside the beach.
