Croatian government wants to avoid the 2020 summer season scenario when Croatia suddenly entered the red zone on the ECDC map. That's why the government is putting additional efforts to recognise the risks and to prevent the increased number of positive cases.
Recently, ECDC put the Croatian coast on the orange list, which is only one step away from the red list, which would be disastrous for Croatian tourism and travel. The 2021 season has been quite good so far, and everyone wants it to stay that way.
