Istria has been known as a "green oasis" surrounded by "red regions" all across Europe when it comes to coronavirus pandemic. From the very beginning of autumn, Istrian epidemiologists have been able to trace all the contacts of newly infected and instruct them to self-isolate. They managed to prevent the devastating effect of the second wave of coronavirus pandemic which has been harassing Europe over the past two months.

Great success in dealing with the pandemic is a result of the responsible behaviour of Istrian citizens, who mostly adhere to the measures proposed by the epidemiologists, including social distance and wearing masks in all indoor public spaces.

As of November 13, Istria recorded 75 new cases of coronavirus infection. 59 of them have already been in self-isolation since they were in a contact with previously infected. Most of the newly infected are young people up to the age of 18.

Having in mind these facts, we can make a conclusion that Istria is one of the European top destinations this autumn and winter. If you are about to travel these days, we recommend Istria as our first choice.
