Okrug Gornji is a small and charming tourist destination located on Ciovo island, near Trogir.

Okrug Gornji beaches and tourist facilities

Okrug is the perfect beach destination. Except for the long beaches and clean sea, you will find all the other facilities like renting a boat, jet-ski or pedalo. You can enjoy yourself in a restaurant or a bar near the sea while having your favourite drink.

Beaches are mostly pebble and concrete; there are no sandy beaches.

Just above the beach, there is a nice promenade where you can take an evening walk all the way to Trogir.

There is a boat line Trogir - Okrug Gornji which operates every hour during the summer season. The price for adults is 30 kuna and for children is 15 kuna.

Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is the parish church in Okrug. During the summer season, Sunday masses are held at 9 am and 8 pm.

Restaurant Papaya, located just above the beach, offers burgers, tortillas, fried meals, and sandwiches. The price for a veggie tortilla is 40 kuna.

Fast food Surf'n Fries offers various fritters menu, with the price range of 30 - 65 kuna.

Some bars offer blended smoothies at an average price of 4 euros.

Bistro Toć is a restaurant offering high-quality Mediterranean specialities. For spaghetti with shrimp, you will pay 119 kuna. Octopus salad with potatoes and onions costs 115 kuna.

Tourist agencies organise day trips to nearby islands Brac, Hvar, Vis, and Bisevo. The most featured ones are those which include a visit to Blue Cave, an amazing natural phenomenon located on Bisevo island.

Trogir is a small charming UNESCO town which can be visited by foot from Okrug. You should not miss visiting the Cathedral of St. Lawrence and fortress Kamerlengo, which are the two most featured monuments in the town.

Split can be reached in half an hour ride from Okrug. There you can explore magnificent Diocletian's Palace with preserved monuments from Roman age.

Rogoznica and its Dragon's Lake are further destinations worth visiting from Okrug. They can be reached in a half-an-hour ride.
