- Kuna (HRK or kn) is currently (2019) the only official currency in Croatia.
- Some sellers have permission to receive money in foreign currency, mostly euros.
- It is expected Croatia will introduce euro as offical way of payment in 2025
- It is advisable to pay everything in HRK because prices may be higher if paying in euros
- Most selling places accept credit cards as payments (Visa, Maestro, Diners, American)
- There is no need to enter PIN for payments below 100 HRK
- ATM machines are common in all plaes of visitor's interes
