The official number of infected with coronavirus in Croatia is 206. 78 cases have been identified positive on March 21, which is more than 30% increase in just one day. Croatian minister of health Vili Beroš expresses concern because of the increase in the number of patients in a very short interval. The only way to avoid a drastic increase in the next few days, he says, is to respect the extraordinary measures, which include the complete prohibition of public gatherings, and staying at home as much as possible.
Minister of Internal Affairs Davor Bozinovic announced the reduced public transport schedule, which includes buses, trams, and ferries.
Only those people who reside on the islands will be able to travel by ferry.
The distance between people on buses should be no less than two meters. Zagreb's electric tram won't be running for a while.
Croatia has been in a coronavirus crisis for almost a month. The damage to the economy is already enormous, and the end of the crisis is yet to be seen.
